Well in this business you gotta have the gonads to say what you believe, Im not here to be popular, Tuck was good, but I thought it was apparent that I said that you gotta give something to get something! And PS- If players do read this poo, then I hope they take it on board, coz people like me rattled tins and poo like that so they can get well paid today. I hope all 18 of them prove me wrong but we all know that wont happen  ;D

history shows us that ALL premiership teams include a bunch of players very similar to some of those listed in your post.

See Blumfield, Heffernan and the other guy. whats his face from Essendon 2000. All handy in a good team, but they did stuff all when traded.

We just need a few more years for our younger players, keep our handy players and we'll be looking good.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

You should become our motivation coach Ramps  ;). The players obviously read your posts before games lol.

Your not trying to be mischievious now are you MT ;D but I still believe these 3 wont be here on grand final day. You have to trade when the price is best. And we all know you have to trade a good player to secure a good player.

Or find a dumb club like Geelong, North or Freo who are willing to give up first round picks for one-year wonders  :wallywink  :pray.

BUMP! Any comments after tonights performance. For mine, just showed that the list turnover must occur and it must be deep. We lost by 3 goals but in reality we are about a 7 goal worse side than Melbourne.

We could add another 16 names to that list based on last night. We didn't come 110% to play. The Dees didn't either mind you (although not a bad as us) but their extra class and smarts got them a comfortably win.

I think you may need to add to your list Ramps  ;).

As for Tivendale, 1 good year in 3 doesnt do anything for me, I have a view about these things and that is players like Tivendale should be moved almost immediately after they have a good year coz thats most valueable time to trade them.

If Tivs plays like he has the past two weeks he won't have any value.

If I did a new list based on tonights little effort itd have 33 players on it lol. Since Id like to see a Richmond flag before I jump onto the old age pension in about 30 years...lets just keep the list to the 17 or 18 players for now lol.

Your list is looking more spot on by the week Ramps. We still have too many guys who aren't up to AFL standard and with our injuries they are getting senior games and it shows against top 8 sides.

Nothing has really changed from what we thought at the start of Terry's stint. It's going to take all of Wallace's 5 years just to get the list right and back into balance. The best of our 21 and under blokes will form the new core and we'll build around them.

I think that our problem is that we have too many FRONT RUNNERS

Too many that NEVER play well in a losing team.

My Front Runners:

Joel Bowden
Patrick Bowden
Ray Hall
Shane Tuck
Greg Tivendale
David Rodan
Mark Chaffey

I am sure that there are others from todays game that i missed but i am not thinking straight after watching that crap.

Tough call but i don't reckon Whitey will ever be a premiership player. Not clean, not skilful doesn't hurt enough. But he is a goer though

Whitey does make some mistakes and probably needs to commit to the contest a little better but i think people tend to forget that his is only first year and wasnt picked up until the pre-season draft.

I reckon he will be ok.
