Richmond Football Club has recorded a net profit of $4,740,530 for the year ended 31 October 2025. (2024: $2,755,355).

Revenue grew to $144.2 million (2024: $125 million), growth largely attributed to the expansion of the Club’s subsidiary business Aligned Leisure.

“The result includes $2.09 million of fundraising for the Punt Road Oval redevelopment. Taking this into consideration, the Club’s profit result is sound,” Richmond CEO Shane Dunne said.

“More than ever, the Club’s decision to diversify its revenues has kept it financially strong – the growth of Aligned Leisure and Richmond Institute will continue to be important to the Club into the future.

“As always, our membership has been critical to keep us financially strong. Thanks to our 92,531 members for their passion and loyalty.

“We were incredibly excited to commence the Punt Road Oval redevelopment earlier this year. It is the largest infrastructure upgrade in the Club's history, and it will ensure our elite athletes have the best opportunity to deliver on-field success.

“The majority of cash and cash equivalents, included in our Consolidated Statement of Financial Position, are funds directly attributed to the redevelopment.

“We express our deepest gratitude to all those that have contributed to the project. The Club will continue to work with Government and other key stakeholders to secure the remaining funding required to complete the project in its entirety.

“Our net profit has also been achieved while also making an important contribution to the broader community.

“The Club recently released its 2025 Impact & Sustainability Report, which describes the breadth and depth of the contribution the Club makes to the broader community. The work done to strengthen communities and improve lives is a source of great pride.”

Even if you exclude the fundraising amount for the PRO redevelopment, the profit is still over $2.5m. Not bad for a club that finished 2nd last after finishing last the year before. Most other clubs in the same scenario would have made a significant  financial loss.

I’ve previously been a sceptic on Allied Leisure having had experience in businesses which rely on tenders for revenue - can say they have the right approach particularly in light of their major competitor and while the margins are somewhat skinny think that this is a more than solid business model which will only grow once they divest of the pokies. Well done Tigers and Shane Dunne
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Great result.

Club appears to be making some sound decisions atm.

Optimistic for the next 5-10 years if we keep this going.
