What you say about Rodan's abilities are probably true, but it's not a crime to be not up to it.
The crime IMO is having the ability, but having a pea-sized heart and no desire to achieve anything, other than taking close to a $1 million over the last 5 or 6 years and giving nothing in return.  Memories of Daffy  :wallywink

have u spoken to krak personally, has he told you he has no desire and no heart?? i actually dont question anyones desire or heart, not even tivs!!! every player who crosses that white line has courage, desire and heart and a will to succeed!! its just some dont have the skill or talent. krak has, he is just 23 or so, the next 4-5 we will be rewarded by his talents, and this yr he is starting to show real positive signs, he cant be bog week in week out, but at leat 3 times this yr he has been, and 4 other times in our top 4, that shows he is becoming more consistant and has heart!!!  every players commitment can be questioned after last week apart from the junior boys polo foley etc, last week was a sham, but if u really wanna question heart and commitment , krak shows heaps more than tiv. when krak needed more time to get fit after his knee injury and a bad game, he requested to be dropped!!!!! that shows he is committed, has heart and puts the team first!!!!!! we have still yet to see that kind of courage and honesty from tiv!!!! and facts are, krak may have started the season slower than tiv, but since the first 3 weeks, krak has been a far better and more consistant  and more skilled player than tiv!!! they are facts, tive has been very ordinary for at least 6 consecutive weeks, krak has not put in 6 bad weeks in a row!!!!  i dont care how many clearances  or possessions tiv gets, his ability to dispose the ball properly and chose the right option is substandard.

rodan.......he cant even play 4 conistant quarters 4 coburg.

Just on that - I watch Coburg every week - and I have to say David Rodan has over the last month been very consistent, he has steadily improved over that time. I think it is important to remember that he is coming off a knee reco and he wouldn't be the first bloke to struggle after that type of surgery. They say it can take nearly 18-24 months to get over it.

If he manages a game this week or next week he deserves his spot because he has met the criteria set by the club that we were told about at the start of the season and that was if blokes play consistently well at Coubrg they will be given an opportunity.

I just find confusing to say the least that the criteria is not applied across the board ;) :help

I was calling Daffy a  :wallywink but if you insist you are, far be it for me to disagree.

Absolutely no interest in speaking to him.

i actually dont question anyones desire or heart, not even tivs!!! every player who crosses that white line has courage, desire and heart and a will to succeed!! its just some dont have the skill or talent. krak has, he is just 23 or so, the next 4-5 we will be rewarded by his talents,
We don't have time to wait for Krak to get fit and show the talent he obviously possesses.  Even the club agrees with this assessment of his fitness, and it's really a disgrace that after so many years of criticism about his fitness that he doesn't bother

A player who continues to run hot and cold, but his best can be quite spectacular, as shown by his five goals against the Blues in Round 7 and 23 touches in a career-best display that combined hard work with brilliance. Still lacks the fitness to run on the ball all day, but makes up for it with terrific defensive work in attack – his 76 tackles ranked in the competition’s top 20. And 23 goals from 20 games is a more than acceptable return for an opportunist forward.

http://richmondfc.com.au/default.asp?pg=players&spg=playerprofile&personid=13459

It's not his pea-heartedness on the field - i wouldn't question that either - just his application to getting the best out of himself.  You admit that Rodan runs on the spot running as fast as Fred Flinstone lol - at least he is making an effort.  Do you get what I'm talking about?  A bloke with half the skills doing everything he can to make the grade versus one who has god-given gifts who can't even get himself fit.  Yabby Jeans used to say, the club is not a gymnasium where you come to get fit - you should be fit when you get here.

I'd rather have a Rodan on our list than Krak any day.  Waiting for Krak to turn it on consistently is as frustrating as a few years back hoping Sheeds was gonna come and coach the Tiges.  Never gonna happen.

If you're referring to him being Aboriginal that we treat him harder, best you keep your opinion to yourself, because your opinions are rubbish.

as i said i will keep my opinions to myself, i never assumed 4 once u are racist

but now that u mentioned it, why is it when an aboriginal player has a bad game or two, he is lazy, gone walk about, has no heart, has no desire etc etc etc

but when i white player has a bad game or three .... nothing is mentioned about his character, desire, heart, laziyness /workethic............its always, he is playing out of position/playing with an injury/ not being coached properly , was failed in their development by previous coaches bla bla bla

can anyone explain that to me!!!

There is truth in what you say, X, people are judgmental about them in that respect, but in my case, you are not only wrong, but offensive in even thinking it.

what i meant when i said i will keep my opinions to myself. were that many ppl , just follow the main perceived ideas about players and follow the hype.  foe example many ppl say tiv has improved, well he has not, ppl say krak has been pathetic, he has not! but because many say it, ppl believe it
u assumed i meant raciism

X, this is no place to play the race card. Never once have I seen anyone here suggest that the reason why they bag Krak is because of his heritage. Stop trying to deflect the issue at hand into some meaningless racial pit. It's all about form and commitment. Nothing else.

I'm not sure if you're into any dreamteam comps but if you do a comparison between Tiv and Krak, Tiv is certainly ahead of Krak.
You may laugh, but these stats are an accurate refelction on the quality of the contribution of players week in and week out. The points are awarded as follows....

Effective kick    4 Points
Ineffective kick    0 Points
Clanger kick    -8 Points
Handball effective    2 Points
Ineffective handball    0 Points
Handball clanger    -6 Points
Handball receive    1 Point
Hardball get    4 Points
Loose-ball get    4 Points
Goal    8 Points
Behind    1 Point
Mark uncontested (maintaining possession)    1 Point
Mark contested (maintaining possession)    6 Points
Mark uncontested (from opposition)    4 Points
Mark contested (from opposition)    8 Points
Tackles    4 Points
Free kick for    4 Points
Free kick against    -6 Points
Hitout to Advantage    3 Points

I think you'll agree that the point structure really does reward quality football and punishes mediocrity.

With that said, Here's some food for thought....

Tiv
Comp Rank   89
Dream team average PPG  83.6
Total Dream team points  1254
Points last round  68

Krak
Comp Rank  198
Dream team average PPG  78.58
Total Dream team points  943
Points last round  29

So how you can say Krak is playing better than Tiv Baffles me.

wow tiga , u r so intelligent! i feel so gr8 now i have read such a gr8 post from such an itelligent person. dream team , lol, no i dont have time to play those games.
second, of course tiv scored more points than krak last week, but out of interest why didnt you compare the points from the previous 2 weeks!!!!!! or the game v adelaide, v geelong, v sydney(even though we got smashed)
but being such an intelligent person that you are, why would you compare dream team points points b/w a player who is playing totally in teh midfield and a player who playes 80% in the FORWARD POCKET!! sorry im just too damn stupid , so bu being so smart , can u explain that to me. then i want you to make a dream team comparison between say andrew mccleod and peter street!

stats stats stats
are u aware  that buckley had nearly 30 touches when sugar played on him????? sugar won that battle as sugar was more effective, but i guess 30 useless touches means alot more
being the smart person u are, buckely followed the tiger game with 30 touches v the saints!!!! and got smashed again......

i rest my case

dont bring out that bs stats crap , watch the games see how many times krak turns the ball over compared to tiv!!! see how many times krak hits targets compared to tiv!!!

open ur eyes and watch, dont anaylyse bs stats  and bs comps.

btw, tiv has not been bog 4 as lobng as i can remember!!!!!

It's like this X,

You're pi ssing most people on the forum off with your constant defending of one Andrew Krakouer or the Akker thing etc.

No-one can talk about anything without u resorting to the same effen thing.

You're begining to sound like an idiot again when u refer to racism.

Or look at it like this..

You r the big bully who comes to the sandbox and tells everyone how the world is.
People cant be right around you, they can only agree, otherwise you get angry and throw plastic buckets at everyone..
Difference is were all adults and we can throw sh it back at you.
We dont really want to but sometimes man,u got to learn to STFU !

Honestly i think ure a good bloke when your being yourself, but too often u bring the streesses of your life onto the boards
and start trying to snipe people -

Most of OER posters are placid,well-balanced individuals.

You dont need to give sh it to Tiga, hes a normal fat guy. :rollin

Moi aint no racist bro - trust me.
She took on 3 Black dudes after the Baketball one night. :shh

Another thing - Dont u have to keep some things for yourself man ?
