We’d be looking at the besr ruckman available in our age bracket. Madden is probably up there

From Barrett:

IF ...
Jed Walter can't get a game for the Suns at the moment ...

THEN ...
I would imagine the Tigers would be monitoring this situation. Going to have to replace Tom Lynch at some stage.

I’m a Jed Walter fan
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

What would he cost though?
He's not much older than Fawcett, maybe 1 year.

He won't replace lynch any sooner than our other guys will mature more or less

But I'm not saying no, that's for sure. At least one of Faull, Fawcett and Armstrong won't work out you'd think

Nothing. He’s out of contract at the end of this season

You still have to trade for him unless he walks to the draft which they rarely rarely do.

I think we trade appropriately which for a player in the 2’s is a low second or high third rounder or take him in the December draft

"They've leaned on the friendship factor."

@CalTwomey reports that Tasmania has registered interest in best mates Sam Lalor and Finn O'Sullivan.

More jumping at shadows or to put it another way a nothing story

Are members of the media that naive or perhaps stupid to think that behind closed doors negotiations are not already going on  ::)

IMHO, there's nothing to see here

Lalor will re-sign, I'm not worried at all

"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

The facts are currently he has not re-signed.

Tassie will be offering him many millions,  more,  than Richmond.

Will he stay? Prob but you giving an opinion means little.

That lots of money for a young man made of glass to turn down.
