I mean they’ve consistently said all year that it’s cats, dogs and tigers. It was pies who came late to the party. Not sure what he’s bitching about but hopefully he applies the same logic to his own reporting that he’s 99% coming to Richmond if/when he nominates the others

Sam Edmund also reported Butters would consider not nominating a specific club, and taking into account which of his Victorian suitors could do the best deal for Port Adelaide’s purposes.

That would likely give Richmond a much greater chance of signing the superstar given they hold Pick 2 in the draft, while the Bulldogs’ pick is likely to be a mid-round pick and the Cats’ will be even later.

Ridiculous frankie
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

i think the go home local factor to dogs is overdone. Why the fk would he want to play for darley let alone live in that area.

Its all about cash and secondary picks to port. if it wasn't then how are dogs back level pegging.

I hope he chooses dogs, though i feel he wont.

Nice team if they get butters and have a good injury run

Cornes: Are the Dogs getting too desperate with their offers to Zak Butters?

Only want him if he really wants to be a Tiger.  Not just because we can satisfy Port.

Zak Butters is growing to the thought of being a Tiger next year as he looks to realise it being the only way a trade gets done.

If it was an unrestricted F.A situation, he would favour the Cats.

I’m expected Butters to be a Tiger.

Soooooo hypothetically
If we get Butters, Taranto in the guts, where does that leave K Mac2, Ross, Sonsie etc

Arthur Jones just tore it up. Out of contract at the dogs, would be a big improvement at small forward for us. Apparently Brisbane and bombers are into him.

Squeezed out by Lalor and Cumming is where they’ll be left.
