You’d hope they’ve made a call to his agent to see if the rumours are true and if so whether he would be interested in coming here. If he is then like I posted before I’d start with picks 20 & 21 and go from there.

For me, I consider pick 2 untouchable unless we get offered a trade that leaves 0 doubt that we come out on top of.

If there's a bid at P1 and we get the compo, do we lose that compo if we trade P2? I wasn't aware of that.

I'll die on the hill that the bottom 10 clubs should get 2 shots at the top 20 players in the draft.

Make is much easier and quicker to rebuild through the draft and the FA issue of pillaging best players from lower teams isn't an issue.

If Port lose Butters and get pick 5 compo. They have pick 4 but after pick 10, picks 11 to 20 should be teams bottom of ladder 2nd pick. So Port would also have Pick 14.
