Thanks X.

No surprises there. JON deserves to come in after his game in defence at Coburg and we'll give Richo until the very last moment to see how he is. With Sarge's form at FF last week there's no big rush to get the big fella back before he is right to play.

i agree and from what i understand , if richo is fit, jay will still play ff, and richo up the ground, i wonder who will be dropped if richo is fit, will it be jon, will it be krak, i doubt either of them as port a a fast side, maybe patto will be given a rest but we need him to back up snake!!! good headaches i suppose

Patto, White or Meyer would be candidates to go back to the burgers if Richo comes in. I have a feeling Richo won't play.

Port's changes from the Power forum:

In: Tredrea, White, Walsh
Out: C Cornes (injured), Cassisi (injured), Ware

Two big losses for them but they get back Tredrea. They've replaced 1 tall and 2 smalls for 2 talls and a small so Port have gone taller. It's meant to be a fine night on Saturday with drizzle clearing 15 degrees. Night games at Footy Park can be a bit dewy though.

from what i was told, richo was at the rugby last night, and my source tells me its alleged he was in no state to me playing this week, was having too much of a good time!

i think meyer , white will be safe cos of there pace.

we will most likely go in unchanged, ur right mt, even if it does not rain, it does get very wet and moist cos of teh night dew there, so i think being a bit smaller wont hurt

It's still doubtful whether Tredrea will play or not. Depends on how his knee is tomorrow.

I agree X we should go with pace. Port over there have been a bit too quick for us in the past. Danny might be safe being an ex-croweater.

this match up worries me, i know in th eair chubba has the advantage, but i feel on fround level esp if its dewy, ebert may be too nimble and swift 4 chubba

if this is how the game is lined up, this is where the game will be won or lost

simmonds has to beat lade, tuck should beat salopek, and deledio has to make sure that he is equal or more damaging than pearce.

F. P.Burgoyne

HF.   Pettifer
HB.  S.Burgoyne

these 2 match ups are also vital, if raines keeps up his form he should be able to nullify P.Burgoyne   .
and petts must a/ make  S.Burgoyne accountable , and b/ hurt him and his team on the score board when he isnt. this is a very important duel, petts biggest test 4 the yr imho

Whoever plays on Shaun Burgoyne needs to try and drag him back close to goal.

Kellaway on Ebert is a bit of a mismatch height wise although Ebert plays more as a leading forward pocket than a crumber but we need Chubba when Lade pushes forward.

Tredrea is fit to play according to the AFL website so no late changes for Port. I'd still give Richo another week even if he did get through training well today.

Yeah I wouldn't risk sending in Richo underdone, I say wait a week just to be sure :)
