Yep.

Quote
Every round, an Australian Football League rising star nomination is given to a standout young player. To be eligible for the award, a player must be under 21 on January 1 of that year, have played 10 or less senior games and not been suspended during the season. At the end of the year, one of the 22 nominees is the winner of award.

Yeah it's all your fault Moi  :lol

I've only seen Staff's shirtfront. He'll go because of who his is and because the AFL is going overboard cracking down on bumps a la Jordan Lewis on Friday night ::). Staff shouldn't go as it was a legitimate bump within 5m of the ball and just part of the game. If you want to be harsh then Goddard left himself open.

All the commentators are saying Simmo is gone. Stupid act if that's the case just like Bowden's on Ward. Both late in the game when the game was long gone.

Hopefully Rainesy is safe. The only person who was complaining about it was Graeme Bond  ::).

Tribunal and certain media personnel don't like Staff either so they'll be gunning for him.  Staff would only have to sneeze on his opponent and people would be yelling.  Haven't seen the Simmo incident but cross fingers he won't be suspended. :pray

Sports Tonight said the Staff, Simmo and Saint Steven Baker's (jumper punch on Staff) incidents will be looked at. So Rainesy may be safe.

I don't reckon he'll go out swinging Mal Brown and Balmey style but I think he will go full boar at every contest and make sure any Eagle nearby is aware of his presence ;). Some Weagles might end up feeling a bit sore going into the finals.
