sad thing is 25 years ago a set of results like that would have us as favorites for the flag, now we cant even make the 8 with that set of results.

25 years ago we were flag favourites  ;) lol.

Just goes to show how the mighty have fallen. The Blues and Dons will spend a few more years holding up the ladder while the Pies are overrated and will be lucky to make the finals next year. A good time for us to rise again :thumbsup.

Beating anyone of them is always sweet but the annihilation of the Pies my favourite thanks to one drunken Magpie moron who had no comeback  :rollin.

My friend at work always reminds me how many finals Collingwood have been in compared to Richmond in recent years, then I remind him how it ended and what happened in Round 13, 2006...

75 years since a clean sweep against the Big 3

History beckons for Tigers

Richmond gets the chance to break a 75-year hoodoo when it takes on Essendon at the MCG on Saturday night.

A win for the Tigers would give them a clean sweep in 2006 in matches against the club's three biggest rivals - Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon - something the club has only ever achieved once in its history since joining the competition in 1908.

And that was way back in 1931 when the Tigers defeated all three of their great rivals at Punt Road as well beating them at Princes Park, Victoria Park and Windy Hill respectively.

Since then the Tigers have lost to at least one of their great rivals in every season since - including in all their premiership years.
