I remember Jewell ripping his hair out in 1987 but does anyone know which game or year he got his foot stuck?
THE problem for Richmond coach Tony Jewell wasn't that he had kicked a hole in the Princes Park coaching box as he stormed out to address his players at three-quarter time.
It was extracting that foot in time to get down to ground level before proceedings started again.
Jewell, who famously grew so enraged he tore his hair out in one of his stints with Richmond, can laugh about those outbursts now.
"I couldn't get out of the box because my foot was stuck in the wall," he says.
"I had to take my foot out of my shoe, then get the shoe out of the wall. At that stage all the players had gathered, waiting for the coach to come out, and I was busily getting my foot out of the wall.
