Really!!! Moore to me seems like he's been around the place on any of the lists for years. I'm sure Moore has been at the club longer.

Just checked my Encyclopedia of AFL Footballers for the Tigers Rodger and I'll correct my error.

Moore was rookied in 2003, with 2004 being his 2nd year, Roach was drafted in the National Draft in 2003 = first season 2004.

So Moore had only been at the Club 1 year longer than Roach but he spent 2 years on the rookie list

Roachy sadly gone I reckon.
Moore the same, but if i had a choice out of the two I' d keep Moore
Both interrupted with injuries but not showing enough when they get their opportunities.

Not lookin good for Roachy, must admit I seen a few Burgers games and the guy is struggling.
I would give 1 more year only, just in case. Only because his surname is Roach and if he makes it I want him to be palying for us, but 1 year and that is it.

Tommy Roach playing for his career - Wallace
« Reply #19 on: September 02, 2006, 02:56:57 AM »
From the Age:

Wallace said youngster Tom Roach, the son of Richmond great Michael Roach, would have to prove his ability. "Tommy Roach is probably playing for his footy survival to stay on the list, you've got Cam Howat who's come off the rookie list — where does he sit in the situation? Is he going to be re-rookied, do we put him on the senior list? All those things play a part in what your final list-management structures are so from that point of view we want to wait until the end (before decisions on players are made)."

I reckon give him one more year to prove himself, or else time to move on

If his last name wasn't Roach, this wouldn't even be a question. After 3 years on the list he still looks like a 14 year old. His tackles don't stick, he doesn't run hard enough and his kicks aren't pin point. I think it's time to say goodbye Tom...or at least hello rookie list.
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

Wouldn't even give him a rookie list spot.  He has great pedigree, but sadly that's all.  Shame, but bye Tommy

saw roach yesterday give a handpass off then lay the LAMEST of sheperds i've ever seen, of coarse the player with the ball had to then kick under pressure resulting in a turnover  :-\

Young Thomas celebrated two things this weekend.
His 21st and his last game of AFL

Just another Frawleying stuff up :scream

An attempt to appease the non thinking fans with a father & son selection enamating from a star player from the past.
it was openly reported at the time that he was just an average player with Oakleigh

Get him out of the way and lets move on.

Yep a political decision to desperately attract a positive news story amongst the cries for blood at the time rather than what was best for our list  :scream. Of course that's not Tommy's fault. Most of us would have jumped at any chance to play AFL.
