I don't think we've been burnt by letting Torney go as he is a depth player not a gun at the Crows. We also have plenty of Tigers to cover his position so he wouldn't make a difference to our side. He's missed alot of footy due to injury and the Crows' depth but yeah X great to see him do well. A very honest footballer.

btw, iirc, we gave up pick 2 and torney for sugar.

thus we could have kept torney, a far better player than sugar, and had wells!!!

another big past f up by the tigers

think u r underestimating torney mt.

neil craig has said many times torney is vital to the crows and in their top 5 players. says the crows are always a better outfit when he is there.  torney is a far better player than 95% of our list

No point in dwelling on the "what ifs?".

Wallace also said we're a better outfit when Kellaway is in our side  ;).

Craig would be telling fibs if he said Torney is in their top 5 - Riccuito, Goodwin, Edwards, Burton, Macleod, Johncock, Biglands, Rutten, etc. Torney is an honest and courageous footballer and was one of my favs as a Tiger. One ex-Tiger I have no ill feeling towards because Spud put him up for trade even though he had no plans of leaving Richmond. I hope he can be part of a premiership. However, he would have made little difference to where we are now. He would have taken Rainesy's spot.
