It's all our fault lol.

The Saints board was also unimpressed by the club's failure to lure Troy Simmonds from Fremantle as part of the Heath Black trade two seasons ago. Thomas' team could not agree to terms with Simmonds and the Saints finished up with Aaron Fiora, while Richmond signed Simmonds to a controversial five-year deal.

Maybe someone was pulling Thomas off? :whistle
Why else would anyone want Fiora?

Geez Riewoldt looked a happy chappy at the Saints press conference today lol. He's taken over his old mentor's role as Mr Grumpy going by the Ch 10 news footage :rollin

Seems the fall out from Grant Thomas' sacking is starting to boil at Moorabbin.

As we know all too well off-field infighting eventually effects every level of a footy club.

Butterss suing Grant Thomas for $1.14 million
« Reply #37 on: May 03, 2007, 09:58:44 PM »
Writ submitted to Supreme Court. It's over a $1.14m loan Thomas received.

Butterss and Thomas after falling out in early 2004 didn't speak to each other personally for the last 3 years Thomas was coach  :o

:yep

Makes the stuff-ups that happen at Punt Rd look like nothing.

Getting more bitter by the day too. Butterss won't meet Thomas in private because he fears Thomas will punch his lights out yet Thomas says he wouldn't hit him because he knows Butterss can't fight. Both are acting like  :wallywink.

Thomas could end up president if he gets the top gig at the Saints major sponsor Bill Express and then challenges Butterss.
