Carlton is to receive $600,000 of annual special distribution as well as $3.45 million for redevelopment of Princes Park. Other facility upgrade deals include: St Kilda ($2.55 million for Moorabbin), Richmond ($1.5 million, Punt Rd), the Kangaroos ($1.5 million, Arden St) and the Bulldogs ($1.5 million, Whitten Oval). 
Special financial assistance for clubs will increase with the Annual Special Distribution fund set to swell from $5.4m to $6.2m. The fund previously serviced four clubs - the Kangaroos ($1.4m), Bulldogs ($1.7m), Melbourne ($1m) and Sydney, ($600,000) - but it will now include Carlton ($600,000), 
Richmond ($400,000), Hawthorn ($250,000) and Port Adelaide ($250,000), mainly based on their uneven stadium deals.
