Well if it is the unhappy player then every club will be after him and we should be as well. Hes the type of player you have to say...you know we have a budget and everything but...

if we could get the polak and 13 for tuck and 26 deal and this supposed superstar is available then our club would be negligent to not chase to get him although in the end it would cost us the 8 and 13 picks.

In the end however if he is available I see the saints getting pick 4 and a player.

I've got more chance of becoming Prime Minister than St Kilda trading Nick Riewoldt.

Andy "look at me" Maher, for sure...

Apparently Andy Maher has been spouting off about a BIG NAME player that is likely to be traded, which has not been mentioned in the press.

Sounds like a bit of "look at me, look at me".  More unsubstantiated rubbish on SEN?

I reckon Andy Maher is on the money

Is this related to these silly Macleod and Kerr rumours doing the rounds today?

It's rumoured the doggies have offered their 2nd and 4th pick for the Eagles' MacDougal.

Sheesh this trade period is overrating fringe players just because they are tall :help.

My mistake (and SEN's). Exchange of 2nd and 4th round picks.

Polak should be similarly priced  ::).

I think the bullies just provided the high price...for our Polak deal. Miller just got another thing to use in the negotiations. Polak aint worth anything more than an exchange of picks in the 2nd and 4rd rounds.

Lets chuck up a few BIG Names

1.  The suspected infighting in Adelaide, Midfielders?

Andy Maher might not be talking crap. According to the Herald-Sun tomorrow, the Crows will bring in a counsellor for Macleod and Tyson Edwards' feuding wives. They say Macleod is being pushed further away from the club.

Sauce says Gardinier deal already done with Saints earlier this week? Problem was that Ross Lyon wasnt told of what was going on behind the scences?

AFL needs to do something about trade week its a farce. I believe some level of free agency should be brought in.

each club should be able to sign one junior player prior to the draft

each club should be able to sign one player from another club in a transfer situation with the AFL setting the transfer fee through an independent tribunal.

Hudson is the SEN reporter btw...

* Blues and Hawks are finally talking but Thorton still not on the table.

* Blues and Port talking over Russell (a trade for a second round pick?)

* Essendon wants a 2nd round pick for Solomon; Freo only willing to offer a 3rd rounder.

Trade week really wouldn't be complete without North's bumbling trade skills :rollin
