Trade week really starts today
« on: October 12, 2006, 02:33:56 AM »
After 3 days  :sleep of innuendo, smoke and mirrors, we'll finally see some trades done today. They should just make it 2 days and scrap Monday to Wednesday. Clubs speak to each other and test the waters before trade week anyway as the Aker agreement showed.

The word amongst the recruiters is 10 clubs won't be involved in trades. That says it all.

It was probably always going to be that way, when this next draft could arguably be one of the strongest yet.

Most Clubs seem more interested in picking up new talent, rather than using valuable picks on already tried players, unless they come cheap, or there's a real need.
