Does anyone know what was going on at Punt Rd tonight around 7.30? Seemed to be a fair few people training on the oval but they didn't look like cricketers. Not sure if it had anything to do with the rookie draft tomorrow.

That would be Coburg training MT :thumbsup

Good luck to him, hope he can turn around his patchy form and be a handy contributer.

Into other clubs yes lol.

The Saints picking up Clarke and not expecting him to take marks around the ground. Why did they get rid of Knobel then?!  :wallywink

Hawks redrafting Thurgood - doh!  :rollin

Carlton picking up a dud Cloke.

Good luck to Kingsley and welcome to Tigerland :clapping. The number 10 guernsey is his.

What about No. 18 ;D

Absolutely no surprise with this selection.

I have no problem with it, can actually see the logic behind it - 3 forward option for Kent usually means he bags a few goals.

With Kingsley now coming into the team I believe we now have a good balance of youth and experience. I think he will be a better contributor than some other mature types we have picked up in the past.(Marsh, Hudson, fleming, king, Houlidud...Need I go on??)  Has a good lead and can take a strong mark when his confidence is up. Might be a good foil for Richo How could anyone have been confident at the cattery last season. Our potential forward setup for next season could really stretch some opposition backlines. I'm excited!  :thumbsup

I'm happy we've got Kingsley - I think it will be another Mark Graham situation, except hopefully we'll get more than a year out of Kent.

Was going to unleash on this decision, but it does make sense for 1 year.

Get another leading tall into the forward line, release Richo to CHF, take a defender from Brown's area, and allow Cleve & McGuane an extra year to develop at Coburg where they can be brought in for a 2 to 3 game taste at intervals.

I have always maintained that a final is worth 10 H&A games, and with the addition to Kingsley more likely to result in an additional 30 to 40 goals next year, finals are the real aim.

Imagine Lids & Bling injury free in their 1st final  :shh
