* Caro saw Richo, Sugar and Browny running the tan on the holidays.
* Caro reckons giving up pick 8 isn't great but we do still have pick 13. She is rapted we got Polak. She shared the concern from a caller about the gap between picks 26 and 58. She still has question marks over our recruiting over the past 5 years. Named Tambling and JON. Another caller after Caro had left said he didn't know what Caro was talking about and these youngsters plus Casserly will take time.
* Caro said we are going gangbusters off-field.
* Chris Connors (?) - Polak's manager - reckons we got Polak for a steal and that we wouldn't have got him for what we paid if Freo didn't get Tarrant. Picks 1-7 are pretty well clear but after that the next group of picks are very similar. Miller being the estute judge he is realised this and knew he could get Polak and the Tarrant deal done if Richmond swapped pick 8 for 13 with Freo.
* Caro questioned Connors over Polak not being in Freo's best 22. He said 12 months ago things were going fine but this year Freo didn't believe he could play in defence ahead of Mundy and Michael Johnson and he just lost his way. Polak's now ready to play not brilliant but good consistent footy.
