Player review: 7. Nathan Brown
« on: October 26, 2006, 12:54:15 PM »
Browny's next up coming back from his broken leg. Amazingly made it back for the first game but came back too early. Reappeared in round 11 after a two month "rest" before doing a hammy for the first time in his career against the Saints six weeks later.

How did we rate his year given the circumstances and how do we reckon he'll go in 2007?

Saw him running around Punt Road Oval a couple of weeks back and he looked in good "nick" moving alot better than he did this time last year

I think his 2nd half of 2006, after he came back from his rest (prior to the hamstring) showed that he'll come back and that it was all about time.

I reckon it was always going to take a year to get over the leg break espcecially considering he had the rod in there and that's what caused a lot of the pain.

I reckon we'll see the Brown of old in 2007 :thumbsup

obviously came back too early, wanted to see through his statement from the previous year
once he was in the team he started to show those patches of n brown magic, i was at the game v the roos and he was showing some form that day  but nathan would be the first to admit 06 was not a good year for himself

In 07 I reckon he will start solidly, and by second half he will get to his best and rocket us into the finals
