Miller on SEN earlier today:

* Kingsley is the only unlisted player training with us (they trained today - finished about 1.30pm).

* We most likely won't be interested in either Cloke brother .

* May not necessarily use our PSD pick. Just our picks in the National Draft.

* Asked for us supporters to be patient with Polak in defence. He's still learning how to play in a key defensive role.
 
* Howat won the run around the Tan.
 
* The squad trains from now up to just prior to Christmas then has a break until early (4th) January.

* Community camp is in Wonthaggi, Gippsland.

* Rainsey has remained in Europe for a few extra days as others have done. Only half the IR squad came home.

That trade has diminished the RFC draft position.

because he can play that role, what miller is saying is polak wont dominate the afkl at chb next season, but 2008 watch out!
polak has mainly been a fwd but will be our best option down back, better than anyone we have or any 18yo in the draft

word is wallace is really keen on kent kingsley and wanted him as part of the ottens deal the yr b4. obv he can see him play an important role for us. apparently the dawks are really keen on him too, so the tigers may pick him up late in the draft to avoid the dawks getting him in the psd

Well we will never find out if there is an 18yo KDP that will be better than Polack because RFC has traded away any possibility of a top tier KPP slipping thru to draft pick 8, now 13.

Director of football Greg Miller told SEN Kingsley is currently the only delisted player invited to have a run with the Tigers, but he isn't making any promises, stating the club may yet decide to use all six of its selections in the upcoming NAB AFL National Draft.

"The (Clokes) are not training with us, but we had Kent Kingsley join us today for a run," he said on Wednesday afternoon.

"His manager was on to us and talked about it and Terry said to have him down here for a few weeks and have a look at him.

"We may well use all six picks in the NAB AFL Draft and have nothing left for the pre-season (draft), we'll see how it pans out."

Miller also said former Docker Graham Polak is settling into his new home and is "really confident he'll be a great asset to our club".

"(Polak) was out running around today, he joined us last week," he said.

"He's going OK, he's a fairly quiet and shy young man and I knew his brother well as he was at the Kangaroos when I was there so I know a little bit about him.

"He's been staying at my place so I've got to know him pretty well. He's a very nice young man."

Miller asked supporters to be tolerant with the continuing development of the 22-year-old key position player and spoke of the club's plans for him.

"It won't happen straight away, we've got to rekindle his confidence so I hope the Tiger fans don't get too impatient," he said.

"We also want to teach him how to play as a key defender because we're certainly deficient in that area."
