With preseason back in full swing, has any of our fine footy judges ;) here ever had a run around the Tan or Princes Park?

No but in my youth I used to run cross country with St Stephens Harriers during the winter.
We trained on Punt Road Oval Wednesday nights and often did two or three laps around Yarra Park during a session.
We used the Chricket Club or the Fotball Club dressing rooms depending on availability on the night

I have, about 500 times.true
My best time is 15.25 although I would probably be struggling to break 19min at the moment.
I know of guys who have done 12 mins.
I think that Alan( Dizzy) Lynch ex Tiger and Cat holds the footballers record of 12mins ?
I know that Richo has done 12.30 a few years ago.

I've never been around the Tan but I've been around Princess Park a few times but not for a number of  years. My best time was around 15 mins which is pretty ordinary. Not the most exciting course to run around either.

Get around a bit as I work shift work accross the road. Not breaking any records these days nor am I interested  dodgy knee etc ..

Allways good for the optic nerve in summer.

Usually see a few teams players from all codes going round - saw the storm boys the other day (you may abuse players from over the fence, but not to these guys faces) some big muthas in that group.

During the season I ran into the skunks coming down the hill, they were using up the full walkway, dont know if they expected me to get out of the way or not (heroes) I wasn't moving just put me head down and went straight through the middle. ( and held my breath  :rollin )

Just got back from a couple of laps tonight actually (farout hailstones hurt when they come down hard) still it was nice to be out in the FRESH air.

I'd prefer to go to the top of the hill taking a swig on a Crownie at my leisure as the buffoons complete there runs in 35 degree heat.

10 X 100metres up Anderson Street hill tests the men from the boys!
There is also the much added incentive of magnificent eye candy around the tan, especially when they are ahead of you while running up the hill ;)
Moi, you asked me how I lost so much weight.now you know :lol
