Fans' training day - Dec 15
« on: December 07, 2006, 03:05:39 PM »
The Christmas Fans' Training Day for 2006 will be held on Friday, December 15 at Punt Road Oval.

We are looking forward to a fantastic afternoon for the whole family beginning with competitions and activities from 3.30pm.

At the conclusion of the teams' training session supporters will have the opportunity to meet the players and get plenty of autographs from their favorites.

Santa will also make an appearance at the end of training.

A sausage sizzle will also be served throughout the afternoon.

For further information please contact the Richmond Football Club on (03) 9429 5333.

Please note: There is NO parking available at Punt Road Oval. The MCG car park will be open with normal charges applying.

I popped in briefly to Punt Rd for a look on the way home from work. They were finishing up but there was still heaps of kids/adults swarming around the players getting autographs and photos. Still there were Clever, Rainesy and Foley who were popular but Polo was the man totally surrounded chatting away to supporters. Well done RFC. Hope those who went had a great day.

My son and I went and stayed about an hour, it was good watching them train and they had some spectator involement games which looked like fun, but the main reason we went was because I'd bought my son and a friend of ours a paver for their birthdays. We were told that they would be laid by fans training day and we could come along and see them. Well they were laid but we couldnt see them because they'd parked the PA van over the top of the newest pavers!!! :banghead
