Is it true if you come off by stretcher you can't come back on? If that's the case maybe they thought they could inject him and get him back on?

i think this is the case. from memory they introduced the rule to prevent clubs using the stretcher to deliberately hold up play
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Doc Larkins was just on 3aw and said Richmond believes it's a 6 week injury. Larkins said medial's are usual 4-6 weekers and hopes in Jake's case it isn't longer. He also added that because Jake has now done both the medial and PCL in the same knee he's likely to have knee problems for the rest of his footy career  :-\.

Then I don't know why they just didn't play it safe and stretcher him

Yep Jake King debut in rd 4 2007 a loss to the Bulldogs. THat season we had a record of 3-18-1.

2008 11-10-1
2009  5-16-1
2010  6-16-0
2011  8-13-1
2012  6-7-0

Richmond since his debut has been overall 39 wins 76 losses and 3 draws a total of 118 games

Yet the Jake King statistics on BF claim in 47 games he has played we are 20-25-2 and 1-18-0 when he hasn't in 66 games. Leaves a black hole of 52 games.

Why BF is a Big Fib.

Another vital statistic:

We won more premierships before we got Tommy Hafey than we have since he left.

Dont worry about stats - just use your eyes and look at how our forward line functioned in the first half with Kingy in and how it worked in the second when he was out.  Jakey was involved in most goals up to half time in some way and after that it was desperate.

if you want stats though

Rd 1 Carlton  No Kingy loss
Rd 2 Coll   Kingy inj first quarter - loss
Rd 3  Melb  No Kingy win
Rd 4 Gee    No Kingy  loss
Rd 5 WC  No Kingy Loss
Rd 6  Port  Kingy win
Rd 7  Syd   Kingy win
Rd 8   Ess kingy Loss
Rd 9  Haw  Kingy win
Rd 10  St K  Kingy win
Rd 11 Freo  No Kingy loss
Rd 12 GWS kingy win
Rd 14 Adelaide  With Kingy up by 20, No Kingy outscored by 39
