im one of his biggest critics but was having one of his better games until injured.
i still believe its a mistake to play all three of king nahas and edwards. would only play one if possible and that one is edwards atm.

Has anyone heard the extent of Kingy's knee injury?

It's his knee, medial they think. Scans to come

Cheers WP. Yep Dimma says it's the same medial as the one Kingy injured in Ireland.

Richmond's loss was further soured by a knee injury to key player Jake King, who looked in a world of pain when he was assisted form the ground in the second quarter.

Hardwick said the early prognosis was that King had injured the same medial ligament that he damaged while playing for Australia against Ireland late last year.

The injury was a huge blow for the Tigers, as King had registered 13 disposals and contributed five inside 50s before be was subbed out of the game at half-time.

Have to say our trainers handle the situation poorly. Kingy couldn't walk. They should have called for the stretcher, thereby stopping the game and giving our players time to man up. Adel cleared it too easily because we were one down

RFC have never really helped any player when it comes to injury decisions. We see the same poo yearly. Why l used to cringe when Geishein coached

Look Kingy is going to say "i'll walk it off" because that's him.

But when the opposition has all the momentum then take whatever benefit you can. We didn't do that in this situation. Just seems dumb to me

Is it true if you come off by stretcher you can't come back on? If that's the case maybe they thought they could inject him and get him back on?

RICHMOND forward Jake King is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks after straining a medial ligament in his left knee

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/kings-knee-strain-adds-to-tigers-pain-20120630-219r1.html#ixzz1zIX1B7k5

So that's Kingy's season over effectively.
