Kingy just couldn't quite hang onto it. It would've been one of the best speckies of all time if he did.

Played a really good game. His pressure around the ground is very good. Kicked a nice goal too.

He almost had it too.  3 or 4 grabs and touches of it but just couldn't quite get a hold.

Not saying it should've been paid as Kingy didn't hold on to it but did he have as much of it as Gary Ablett snr did jumping on Gary Pert's head?

Here's the vision of Kingy's near-speckie with MMM's commentary team going off about 'push-up': http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uo_xVEQBP3I

Kingy had as much as that as Gabblett senior did they did a replay comparison, neither of em should of been marks really, Moorecrofts the only one who held on and he looked like he stuffed his back on landing lol

youre having a lend owl, ablett held it all the way to the ground, kingy wasn't close to controlling it.

And yeah moorcroft did stuff his back from that, pretty sure he confirmed that yrs later

Yeah i agree, but imo the ball stayed still for long enough on the way down to be able to pay it or at least be a 50/50 call. He stuck his hand up, ball hit it and from there dropped and nestled down between his other arm and body as he fell. He wasn't juggling it on the way down, it was secured, albeit luckily. Kingy's on the other hand was constantly fumbled, but that's the last ill say on it, people will have differing opinions and its no biggie either way.
