Word on twitter is Kingy has a grade 1 hammy. 6 day break may mean we rest him this week.

Would rest him even if he and docs think he came up right. Hammys are dodgy buggers, you think you have em right then bam gone again and possibly worse

Sure I read in the Dimma's Press Conference thread that it was a knee to the back and not hamstring

Yep here it is:
"Hardwick is confident Jake King, who limped from the field against Collingwood after being kneed in the lower back, will be fit to travel to Perth."

From: http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=17718.0

But then again when it comes to injuries at the RFC I take what's reported with a grain of salt  ;D

I thought it was a knee to the lower back that ended up as a corked gluteal muscle
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Correct but the newspapers said hammy.

But on the Club's injury list on the website doesn't even list him as being "test"

Ditto no mention of Astbury, Griffiths who didn't play last week. Only one listed is Lonegran

That's my issue, blokes don't play because of injury and our injury list doesn't reflect that

Jake King probably lost count of the number of operations he had to have in the off-season, and he's continuing to rack up injuries in 2013. The flight to Perth last week wreaked havoc on his bruised back, with reports that he developed a blood clot that put him out of the clash against Fremantle. Despite the injury, King rebounded to play against the Cats. But if he thought his world of hurt was over, he was quickly disappointed. He copped a knock to his hand in the second quarter, which had him grimacing in pain, forcing him off the ground. But in typical King style, he returned to the field, battered, bruised and bandaged, yet determined. And he wasn't just making up the numbers, finishing the game with a personal best of four goals. It takes a lot to send Jake King out of the game these days.
