Gotta love Kingy.

Just on the Perth flight wrecking havoc on his back, it was stuffed before he got on the plane. Why they flew him over when he was never going to play beggars belief
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

most of last nights senior team should have a long hard look at how kingy plays the game,And how he entered AFL football as nothing more than battler and how through working his butt off has made it.

First small forward for Richmond in ages who has kicked more than 3 goals against a quality team. His attitude needs to be replicated by some of his teammates.

It's amazing isn't it really, I mean how many on this forum bagged the crap out of him at the start of this year and had him playing for Coburg then delisted... :whistle

I will go out on a limb and say i am still not sold on king and would argue he is not best 22.

He is doing 'the selwood' every week - going to group, like he has been shot in both knee caps as soon as someone tackles him and he wins the free kick. If the umpires ever work this tatic out King is frankly stuffed as he in general does not get enough ball, or kick enough goals, and is ultra short.

Its hard to bag him after a 20poss/4 goal game but 95% he wont be in our next flag winning side.

If the maggots ever do "work this out" then half the competition is stuffed because soooo many are doing it now.

Kingy is like a fine wine. Getting better with age.

I used to cringe when he had the ball in hand, he has improved his disposal so much over the last couple of years.

Everyone talks about his lack of skill, but he hardly every wastes it these days and he is actually a good set shot. Rarely loses a contest either.
7 goals in two weeks speaks for itself.
A mercurial opportunist in the other pocket would compliment him nicely.
