Most disappointing Tiger player?
« on: December 15, 2006, 02:43:07 AM »
Who do you guys think was the most disappointing Tiger player(s) you ever saw play who never reached their potential either through their own fault or no fault of their own (injury)?

Probably Richo - not so much because of injury, but would have liked to have seen him play in an era with a better team.
Think he could have been an absolute freak.  Don't think he would have had nearly as many mental spaz attacks had he had the ball delivered to him better.  He's already up in the upper echelon of the game's best, I just think he may have been the greatest in a better team. But we'll never know

It's 50 of one and half a dozen of the other - Don Scott

I can finally relate to Richo and his frustrations having just watch my son play is first (maybe only) season of touch footy.  Longest 20 mins of my week.  His team finished bottom of the ladder not winning a game and only drawing one game.  My son was their highest try scorer with his best being 3 tries in one game, and he stopped countless of the oppositions attempts.  But he would get so upset and frustrated with his team-mates - and most of them had no idea.  But we are talking about under 7's here - would be even more frustrating and annoying with adults.
