Bindi Irwin on Letterman
« on: January 18, 2007, 08:58:16 PM »
Did anyone watch Letterman tonight with Bindi and Terry Irwin?

You would expect deep down they'd be still hurting but they have to be careful that don't overexpose themselves too much in the media trying to promote the Zoo otherwise people will get sick of the sight of them. It's good Bindi is very outgoing and seems to love doing the media but a couple of times tonight the sweetness became a touch too sickly IMO. It was like she was overacting. Then again I might be being harsh on an 8 year old girl who just lost her dad  :-\.

I think she is a brave little girl, much stronger than I was. But who knows what goes on when the cameras aren't on  :-\

I didn't see it but the whole Bindi saga is verging on child exploitation - she should be allowed to grow up. The history of child stars in adulthood is not encouraging. She's only 8 - not even mid teens like most child "stars".

She's really just a baby.

Childhood stardom never hurt Michael Jackson or Liz Taylor lol

She is becoming a pain, young Bindi.  Not her fault, but get her off the tellie before it all goes bad for her.  And it will if they continue the way they are.

Also don't think the weight of Steve Irwin's empire should be shouldered by an 8 year old girl, regardless of how capable she is.

Yeah normally I'm a fan but I thought it was way too over the top.  What a boring show Letterman is.

I hate kods on TV nad in the media.

They have no place there.

They should be at school or in a mental asylum

With Bindy,we see the mother dealing with her grief through her daughter.

Dont forget ,it was the Wife who catapulted his career with her unrelentless drive,
something which she also puts on the child.

Look closely at Bindys face and u can almost see somekind of genetic retardation.
Her face or eyes aren't normal.
The old man was a monger too, imo.
