Try copying and pasting the address straight into Windows media player. That's what I do.

Otherwise try it from the Sport 927 page: http://sport927.com.au/sport927/mediaCentre.asp

If anyone can get it to work can they provide a brief summary of anything interesting said as I can't open it at work. Thanks in advance MT  :).

Newy's interview:

* He trained yesterday. We've trained pretty hard over the summer but had a light run yesterday. They don't want to smash us before the intra-club game on Friday.

* His progress - recovery is coming along well. Spent a fair bit of time in rehab over the summer but right now couldn't feel any better. He is getting a little bit of soreness in his knee but where he broke his leg at the side there's no pain at all. Really pleasing as he's got his speed and agility back and his fitness is really good at the moment. Just keen to now get out there and get a kick.

* Newy's been in full training for a few weeks and almost had a full preseason. He's hoping to play on Friday and get a few quarters in there and see how his leg holds up.

* He's done a fair bit of in-close work with people coming across his body. It was one of things he had to overcome early. He knew his leg wasn't in any trouble but just needed to test his nerve. Believes he has overcome it now. When he is out there he doesn't think about it too much. Newy's been working on it with Jade Rawlings and the conditioning staff and he's pretty comfortable with it at this stage.

* No probs in terms of pain or anything from lateral movement. Even when he still had a bit of soreness in his leg the agility work wasn't affecting it at all. Browny had a fair bit of trouble with the agility work as he had a different break. The conditioning staff were worried initially but Newy's had no problems.

* Newy was asked what lessons have been learnt from Browny's recovery. Browny was keen to get back into it quickly and pushed himself and in hindsight rushed it a bit. Newy said he's taking his time and not in any rush. If he didn't feel right to play and his leg was sore he'd hold off. Round 1 is the bigger picture but even if he still doesn't feel up to it he's not going to rush it.

* Hopes to slip back into defence. Not as easy now with competition in the back half from Matty White and Rainesy.

* Micky McGuane said when he was helping out at Punt Rd that he saw Newy pushing into the midfield at some stage. Newy said that's still in the planning and believes he can play there when needed. He did play a little bit in the midfield last year and enjoyed it as he played there in his junior footy. Is comfortable playing in defence but future plans are to push up into the midfield. Up to Plough and hopefully he can midfield sometime this year.

* Kingsley and Polak have slotted in well. Lots of work has been done with our forward structure this preseason so we don't see any problems with Kingsley slotting in next to Richo and Browny. He is a big lad and has his own presence. Polak has terrific hands, the club is keen to see what he can offer us and will probably play CHB which we've been after for a few years freeing up Joel.

* Knobel - He's aware of the huge challenge ahead of him especially early on in the year without Simmo. Stepped up last year when asked. He's had a bit of a interrupted preseason and Newy has spent time with him in rehab but he's fit now and wants to take up the challenge.

Excellent summary One-eyed.   :clapping

Interested to see just how Kingsley slots into the forward line.

I would suggest between Forward Pocket and Half forward Flank, leading straight up the centre.

Going to be good to see if the Tigers can finally get the forwards consistantly firing with a midfield that should be expected to fuel them this season

Great summary MT almost verbatim actually.

I reckon Kingsley will kick about 40-50 goals this year. If the midfeild clicks we may go alright.
