Moi, without meaning to get ahead of myself lol, are there finals in this comp and if so how do they work?

I think it's the same as any finals series - top players play off
So being on top of the ladder at the end of the 22 rounds means absolutely zilch 

I think that's how it works!

Didn't get off to a great start this week - I picked Gehrig in one of my possies.
One mark - one free against - grand total 2 
Although I thought you normally kicked it or handballed it after you took a mark, unless he marked it on the siren.

He didn't get a kick credited because there was a free paid downfield off the play as he took his kick- his actual kick went through the middle.

Why did we play the finals before the season ended?
I'm still putting in my team, Mrs Mopsy - you just never know we might clean up in the last two rounds in the overall - although somehow I doubt it

Why did we play the finals before the season ended?

So the comp finishes by round 22. If it went longer then you'd have less players to choose from in the AFL finals with half the teams not playing. By GF week you'd only be able to choose a side from the two grand finalists.

I think I was suffering from Whiteline fever.  I forgot to put a team in so it picked a team for me, with guys I have picked before, then substituted Richmond players for the gaps.  I had D Meyer forward pocket, and just lost.

Its beeen close for the top three teams all season.

Now it is time to pull a big one out as I have dropped out of the allound top 8.
