We have to forfeit because we only have 13 fit men.

We must be favourites to beat Carlton, and I'm confident we will.

We've trained well over the pre-season. Have faith. WP could even be right about Schulz kicking 5 goals.

I'm reserving judgement until I see how well our second teir performs on Saturday in Canberra but I'm still confident that we will make the 8. It might be a late charge due to some possible early losses but I think we'll scrape in there. :pray

Did you ever see the movie about the the American Ice Hickey team winning the Gold in the winter olympics when no-one expected them to? It was called Miracle on Ice ...anyway to borrow one a memorable lines from a commentator from that game

"Do you believe in miracles?"  :thumbsup

Or the favourite saying of the New York Mets MLB team - "You've gotta believe"

I reckon I just gotta believe

and BTW I didn't say 5 what he'd kick did I  :rollin but I do believe if his fit he'll play and he'll kick 5  :cheers

Go Sarge  ;D

A big test for the Club this year. If say we did lose to Carlton in round 1 or didn't make the finals this year then the club mustn't lose it's nettle under supporter and coterie pressure and throw out the gains we've made. That would be repeating the stupidity of the past 25 years. We mustn't be reactive to setbacks as there will be setbacks no matter what. No one said improvement has to be linear. We might plateau this year and the next then jump up all of a sudden in 2009 say.

jackstar, with all due respect, i know u have and are entitled to your opinion but i am over all your negative bs posts. all you do now is come on here and post total negative biased crap and it is starting to get to me and many others.
we know your upset but your memory must be poor as it was not long ago that schulz cleaned up an almighty brisbane defense and bagged many goals. so if u would "like to see that" , get the video footage out.

if he could kick a bag v the lions in their prime when we were weaker than we are now, why the hell not cant he bag 5 or more against the wooden spooners.

i know u r bitter but ffs stop all this -ve sh it!!!

really i have no idea if u really are a tiger supporter or not, you are more -ve towards everything about the tigers than i am about tivendale, now that is a worry

Sorry to say this that 1 game of footy does not make a career.
Would think that if Sarge cannot perform this year, he wont be there the following. Thats not being negative, thats being factual.
As for being upset, not at all. I am fine actually.

By the way, I bleed yellow and black, always have and always will.

Would think they would try and trade with a year on contract.

I reckon that Fev will kick around 8 goals and we will get pumped.

Our backline is still very poor.

Gas is going to stuggle big time this year and Thursty is underdone.

Polak may go ok, but we have no one else to play Full Back.

Watching some of the other teams so far this season, i think we have made a big mistake in hanging onto a few players. i.e Jackson, Hall, McGuane, Moore and there's probably a couple of others.

Could of had a few more youngsters to develop.
