Who should be in the side against the Dees?

Should we stay with the youngsters again or bring in the senior players in preparation for round 1?

I think the plan would be to start bringing in those that are likely to play round 1.

Although you would hope that they kids that did well last week against the Swans will get enough game time this week to ensure they are a chance for round 1.

Personally I would like to see a debut in round 1 :cheers

Casserly would be it if he can stop getting injured just as he's about to be picked in the team. He was in the NAB 15 certain of playing against Geelong then got injured. Returns ready to play against the Swans and feels hammy tightness 3 days before.

Tiges to go with "best possible side" against the Dees
« Reply #5 on: March 07, 2007, 06:35:02 PM »
We're going with our "best" possible side this week......

Quote
Apart from [Richo and Simmo], and Coughlan, Hall and Kingsley, fairly much everyone else will be available for the game this week against Melbourne, so we’ll pick our best possible side. We’ll probably use only 22 players, so that we get into our normal routine as quickly as possible. I found last year that we had some fantastic rotations going through the pre-season, but because you’ve got seven or eight on the interchange bench, and you keep players fresh, it gives you a false sense of where you’re at. Once you get into the season proper, it’s all different because you’ve got only four on the bench. Over the next couple of weeks, I want to get back to playing 22 players – 18 and 4 – so that we can get our rotations right, and do exactly what we need to do to make sure they’re absolutely ready to go in Round 1.
