Walls coaching Richmond was a waste of time - Sheeds
« on: March 11, 2007, 06:13:26 AM »
Quote
Sheedy said yesterday Walls lacked credibility after two of the clubs he coached went "out of existence" and claimed his two-year stretch at Richmond was a "waste" of time.

"Robert's two years at Richmond were just a waste. I don't know whether he left Richmond with a future. So he has to be very careful when he starts telling coaches what and how and when they are going to coach.

Any comment by Sheedy about Walls needs to be read in this context......he can't stand him, and is therefore biased.

That's true but is there a semblence of sense in what he says?  Sheedy's not stupid enough to just say "he's a dog" when he could hurt him more with facts that would really get under his skin.

I couldn't wait to see the back of Walls when he was at the club, in fact I nearly put up a petition lol

I would think it would go back to the old rivalry that Richmond and Carlton had.

I am sure that they gave each other a few cheap shots back in their playing days.

soft spot !!!! pigs ar se!!

sheedy is a b i tc h!!!  he has used rchmond over many yrs to increase his bank balance and pay/ contracts at essendon!!!!
sheeedy is a 2 faced b a s t ard , just like KB!
sheedy as KB can go screw themselves, and watching sheedy over the passed 2 yrs bs his way about how the bombers are going has made me laugh,
the best thing is, when he and the bumbers fail this yr, he will have no excuses

at least walls has coached the tigers, besides play for us, what teh f has sheedy done for us excet USE us 4 his personal gain!!!

Can tell you all something.
Sheeds supplied the RFC with a video for the game against the pies last year which was played to the players before the game.
Terry asked Sheeds to do it and he did.
Was about the old days of the Richmond /collingwood rivalry.
Sheeds does care for the tiges, fact.
Those who dont  beleive, well thats your problem

Agree Jackstar. He has a soft spot for the tiges. Lots of reasons why he would.  :thumbsup
I also think he particularly hates losing to them.

Walls decked Sheedy, as Sheeds was running past him behind the play, and knocked him out in a Rich-Carl game.

Richmond is his "second team" because he played with us so he does have a soft spot for the Tigers but Essendon comes daylight first and always will. He barracked for them as a kid.

Sheeds could have come over instead.
