I voted for the late great man too. The spirit and heart of the Club = the Greatest Tiger.

As much as we luv Richo he wouldn't be in our greatest 6 ever. As X mentioned Royce should be in there. IMO in our greatest 3 just behind KB at 2 and Dyer at 1.

how i came up with the 6 ...

K.B
J.D
F.B

top 3 in matches played

J.T
K.B* already in there
M.Richardson
M.Roach

Top 4 goal kicking ...

Royce Hart ... i do agree should be in the top 6 too ...

but i went with the stats ...

K.B and F.B played in 9-10 Premierships together which is amazing to find out !

Royce played in about 2-4 yeah ??? in a sort career really !

a champion !

Fair enough argument torch. KB, Bourke and Hart are all Richmond champions and legends. It's hard to split them.

Royce's poor knees finished his career. 4 flags in 10 years (he walked into the side and starred ) and back-to-back as captain playing in the toughest position on the ground at CHF. In those days there was no chip chip uncontested marks either. It was long direct footy all the time and at CHF you got crunched everytime you flew for a mark.

yeah ... Royce Hart i have read about him, my dad and uncle talk about him ... and seen some of his marks ... and i say to myself ... "if only his knees didn't f*** up his career" ... 4 flags in 10 years ... f***!

who else has a better flag:year ratio then that ??? ... no brisbane players would have that ...

but yeah ... he would be in the top 6 if not top 3 ...

and yeah ... LMAO ... football was very different then ... more contested marks ... this year i have only since Brown from brisbane take a "CONTESTED MARK" against carlton NAB Cup Final on the wing ...

and i thought to myself ... "mannnn when was the last time i saw that ???"

Doubt anyone else at Richmond. Norm Smith won 10 flags as a player and coach at Melbourne.
