Thanks for the heads-up, tigersalive. :)

TW said no issues with NB. He's being rested and will back in full training later this week.

Dot points:

- Jake King has a good opportunity to prove himself, been going well over pre-season.
- Lids has worked into some good form over the pre-season after a bad start in the NAB cup. There has been a lot of talk about him going head to head with Murphy from Carlton.
- Wants an even contribution from the whole team rather than a handfull of players steping up.
- Expects improvement from our running capacity, it has improved greatly since he joined the club.
- Brown is resting this week like he does 1 in every 4 (i think this is crap) expects Brown to play both Midfield and Forward like he did before he got injured.
- Raines and Polo both fantastic young talents, hard and tough at it. Keep there head over the ball. Wallace said that no matter how much the game changes there will also be a place for these type of players.
- Simmonds wont play, atleast a couple of weeks away. Disappointing.
- Thursfield still a week or two away also, taking things slowly as he is a 10 year player for us.
- Hall and Kingsley both out till about Rd 5, very disappointing for Kent
- Knobel will train tomorrow with seniors and should play this week.
- Patto will compete well with Carlton's ruck, Wallace said he would struggle against Cox and Sandilands but he is not just a ruckman and plays key forward. Looking for him to step forward this year.
- Our graph has risen every year since he arrived, looking to do the same this year which would mean making finals.

Thats about it from what i wrote down.

I dont recall MT saying that Brown was constantly having a week off.

I think he would be best to comment of what Brown has done pre-season.

I really hope Brown is ok, i would hate for him to be injured again.

Great reporting Bully and tigersalive :thumbsup. Thanks for that  :cheers

Plough also said he's going to chuck Lids and Tambo in the middle more to use their speed in there rather than around the outskirts. Foley as well to use his pace. People say there are less contests now but it's hot in the kitchen. And he wants more goals from our midfielders. The best sides like West Coast have goalkicking midfielders.

His excuse for Browny was all sides manage their more mature players differently and give them less work than say a 22 year old. Browny doesn't need to train full bore all the time either. Anyone who comes down to watch training later in the week will see him running around in full flight.

Fev has had some jarring in the knee the past couple of weeks but will play as he did in the NAB cup GF.

Apparently Fev WILL play, might add he loves playing against the Tiges and looks forward to it each year. The ""blues"" beleive Brown is only 50/50 to play and think more likely will miss ;)

I would say Browny had taken a session off each week over the preseason rather than a whole week off at once like he's done over the past week. Let's hope he is training fully on Friday to put our minds at rest :pray.

gees jack you know everything about every club
no one really knows , prob not even your sources as you said you dont work anymore

has anyone even considered that the tigers are manufacturing this rumour to maybe put the blues off , maybe select differently or even get them over confident

my bet is that he plays and will kick 4 goals minimum

i reckon fev has less chance of playing

btw, fev did not enjoy his last game against us
