Coburg vs Northern Bullants

Just a reminder Coburg's last practice match is on Saturday. A chance to see the young cubs play as well as see if there are any late changes to Richmond or Carlton before Sunday.

Saturday 31st March
Coburg Tigers Vs Northern Bullants
Reserves 9.15am
Seniors 11.30am
Venue: NAB Oval (Preston City Oval)

ohhhhh ... i thought it is the start of the VFL season ! ...

when does that start then ... Round 2 of the AFL season ???

i know the TAC Cup starts this week ...

and a lot of local football is delayed ... i am from the EDFL and the "A Grade's" back 1 week, "B Grade's 2 weeks and All Juniors 3 weeks !!!)

Yep. Sunday 8th April. Coburg vs Northern Bullants again at Coburg City Oval.

Yes true and it's the seniors only.

NAB Oval at Cramer st not ready for footy yet - believe it or not the problem is the drainage at the ground is too good :o They water and it has little effect because of the drainage.

Going by a Carlton forum, Coburg lost by about 5 goals something (10 goals to 15). We lead by 3 goals early in the second but then got overrun 12 goals umpteen behinds to our just 4 goals.

Jacko was tagging Blackwell heavily. Stifled Blackwell for a half but then got beaten in the second half. They claim Blackwell still got 30 possies  ???. Seems Jacko's last resort as he has been tried in both the backline and forward lines and now as a tagger in the midfield.

Knobel played and was winning in the ruck until he went off b/w quarter and half-time. Going by the result, Knobel going off had a significant impact on the game.
