Pleasantly surprised - as I have said before I really did not notice him that much at Freo, but he really did look at home and quite comfortable out there on the field for us on the w/end.

Looks like he can be a versatile tall, which is something we need.
Forget about the weekend, get Kingsley/Simmo and Brown back and that will make him even more dangerous.
Nice leap strong grab, sort of player that can be a surprise packet and in the end a vital cog to our future hopes if he can maintain and build on that performance.
Couple of times I mistook him for simmo. :thumbsup

I've always thought Polak would be a good pickup for us and I was pleased that he had a good game. I feel he will only get better and since he's still young we should get great value out of him with his versatility.  :thumbsup

So much for Jacks comments before the start of the season stating that he will spend plenty of time at the Burgers. Just goes to show Jack, never trust the goss coming from a club like Freo on a disgruntled player.

Polak had a solid first game, anyway Wallace seems to have a knack of getting the most of his troops, ala Raines, Simmo, Tuck, Foley

Almost forgot Petts, Terry has dragged him from a certain delistment to a regular starting player  :clapping

I actually thought he looked like Rainsey, when Rainsey had hair.

i reckon Polak did real well.

It would be nice to get a good run with injuries etc and for him to have a set spot in the line up.

With the return of Hall, Kingsley and Simmonds in the coming weeks it should provide a bit more competition for spots in the team.

Very good game for mine.

Showed some really footy smarts on the day - stood out like a beckon actually ;D

IMHO he was wasted alot though being interchanged every 7 minutes with Pattison. Personally would have lobbed him the forward pocket for reat rather than taking him off the bloody time - couldn't work that one out to be honest

for me Polak seems average ...

he seems very stiff and he can't kick at goal ... and ruck ...

not as agile as i thought he would be ...

He had a very good game.

If he is going to play forward he has to learn to kick better at goal otherwise it could be a waste of time him playing forward unless he can dish off. He looks like he is kicking rugby league bombs (up and unders)

Thought his debut was solid without being too spectacular but nevertheless he should be a handy pick up for us.
Thought with his two shots for goals he ran too close to the man on the mark and I agree with CUB as I mistook him for Simmo also. Fact hat Simmo is 5 and Polak is 6 didn't help either.

Yeah like most, I thought he was solid.

I know what you mean torch when you say he seemed stiff, nontheless, he looks agile enough and certainly covers the ground pretty well, he looks like he'll be able to keep up with the quicker tall forwards in the game.

One of Polak's flaws at Freo was his shoddy goalkicking too.

Pleasing and promising.

One of the few highlights IMO.
