Summary

* Newman and Polo with him. We didn't hear from them though. Newman terrific first game back. Polo ran around with Murphy and handed himself well in that area. This wasn't set up for those  players that played well.

* Need to concentrate on the whole 4 quarters not just one bad quarter. Terrific game of footy but the result obviously didn't go the way we wanted. We played some good attacking footy so we take some positives from that. We went too defensive and too tempo footy. You still need to attack to win the game. We fell into trying to save the game instead of winning it.

* We trained on substandard grounds - Vic Park. Hard as a rock. Not good enough for elite athletes causing stress injuries. Not sure how water restrictions works with AFL training grounds. Time and energy needs to be spent on getting that right. Some clubs have good grounds and their own grounds - Blues have Princes Park in terrific nick and just one injury. More emphasis needs on getting the right training grounds to prevent injuries.

* Talk about the umps in between the crackle of the recording. Everyone still getting use to the rules. People not sure which way things will go (Whelan incident).

* No comment about March or Smorgon's comments. Just really surprised by Smorgon's comments after 4 years given the good things happening there. Leave it to the presidents to sort out. Plough's still got friends there and doesn't want to involve them. So no further comment to make.

LOL. Yeah the reporter must have been using a wind up tape recorder. The interview would jump to a new topic in the middle of Plough talking about something  ???.

What to do with the Richmond CC over summer then? We have our own ground but we can't train on it during summer due to the cricket pitch.

I can't remember, does the RFC own/control 50% of the RCC?

Yep - RFC has a 51% contolling interest in the cricket club who controls the lease of Punt road oval

LOL. In the second quarter we were okay. 65 kicks, 29 hballs is what the ratio should be = 2:1.

Yep - RFC has a 51% contolling interest in the cricket club who controls the lease of Punt road oval

Can the RFC use this leverage to influence RCC decisions (ie. play elsewhere in the Richmond area, for example at Bartlett reserve) ?
