Yeh MT, I thought that was one of his better articles of late- people have this vision, and I've said it myself before also, that they have got it easy over there with their massive gyms, pools, stateof the art technology, loads of money etc. But as Sheahan said, Essendon have got all of that, why haven't they been successful?
Experience is a good school. But the fees are high.

True DC. Victorian clubs have been dumb dumb dumb at recruiting. The bombers seem to have done well in last year's draft but in previous years they've picked up Heffernan, Camporeale and other old top ups like we and other Vic clubs did. Money doesn't stop you from stupidity. Vic clubs talk about planning for success in 5 years time; interstate clubs do it.
