Our backline plays too safe

Interesting comment by Wallace in EOTT:

"Our backmen tend to be safety first, which is no problem, but we’ve got to ramp up the other part of the game . . . It’s got to be a 50/50 split between doing your job defensively and setting up some offensive run."


ps. just on the EOTT section it's been very good so far this year. Well worth being a RFC member to access it.

We're often too slow in our decision making both with and without the ball which stifles our rebounding. No point going the huddle if you take forever to get someone free and allow the opposition time to flood back.
