Patto
« on: April 14, 2007, 05:24:39 AM »
Going by Patto's forlong look sitting on the bench last night it looks as if his confidence has taken a beating since the Swans game last week against Everitt. Patto didn't do too badly early on but Fraser took him apart in the 3rd quarter which sparked the Pies comeback. A total turnaround from the Mildura practice game where he was presenting everywhere. He might need a run at Coburg to get his touch back next week.

once again i will repeat the obvious

we traded OTTO for 2 first round draft picks

what we actually did was trade otto for meyer and patto

which means we gave ootto up for nothing zilch nada niente!

meyer and patto wont nmake it,one has the skill s but not the desire, the other is as useless as t@s on a bull

patto is not a ruck, nor a kpp, so why the hell did we draft him

And Cameron Wood the Richmond supporter teenager with the big wraps was sitting in South Australia waiting to be drafted by us and we let him slip through 4 times so he could get to Brisbane.

Yeah, he would have really helped out our ruck crisis, but saying that i'm still confident Patto will be a good player

It's funny what a bad game or 2 can do to the opinions towards you.

Wasn't it just a few weeks ago we were applauding Patto for being BOG in a praccy match

Totally agree....made enough disasterous turnovers in the last 2 matches to confirm my opinion of him as another salami ....throw knobel in there as well...

Just a quick one, but how long did it take Simmo to get where he is now.
When we picked him up from Freo, I said WHO

I actually think Patto's skills are fairly good for a big man.

In saying that, he aint no Ruckman.

The best game i have seen him play was at Geelong last year when he played Half forward or CHF, not sure.

But he is too slow and not strong enough to play ruck at this stage.

I know he has been filling the void but i certainly am not convinced he will make it either. Needs another year atleast to see how big he can get.

Certainly would have been better taking Wood who is a genuine ruckman.
