Edwards has been looking very classy at Coburg, so he would be looked at.

It's hard to see how they can justify Tuck in the side. Yes he wins some hard ball but what's the use if you blindly kick it to the opposition.

The game this year seems to be very even, and amongst us 'battling' sides, the winner is usually the team that makes the least mistakes.

On those grounds, Tuck should be dropped.

Experience is a good school. But the fees are high.

If we wanted to send a message about half-hearted efforts not being acceptable then Petts would get dropped after his game against the Pies. I don't see us doing it though being a goalkicker. Rainesy and Howat are terribly out of form. Patto is struggling but I think we'll persist with him as Simmo is still underdone.

Edwards, Paddy and King would be strong chances to come in.

What about the captain, MT?  Why don't the obvious ever come into the equation?

Using the pill: Rainesy > Sugar
Getting the pill: Sugar > Rainsey at the moment.

The main issue at the minute is we as a team are not getting our hands on the footy. 15 Tigers had just 1 kick or less in the last quarter on Friday night. IMO that will be a reason Sugar will be safe for the time being. Same with Richo. We can argue their mistakes are costly but they are at least getting their mits on the ball.

A cryptic clue from Plough in EOTT on who will drop out this week?

Quote
We have some players, who played some very good football last year, that you would expect would have natural improvement, but they’re down on form. We’ve got to make decisions on whether we either look for others to replace them from Coburg, or we work with them in the seniors to get them back into form

Howat, Rainesy, Petts and maybe Tuck fit that description. No mention of senior players though  ???.
