We got a segment about us and the game last tonight ...
Caro said like the Geelong game the week before it was another honourable loss in a game they (Richmond) could have won. Caro said she didn't want to say we choked but it means Richmond aren't a good enough side yet. They are a young side who made crucial mistakes at crucial times late in the match that cost them the game. They then showed vision of Nahas mouthing off to the umpire at the ball-up on our forward 50 which gifted the Eagles a free; then Jack taking too long to spot Dusty open on the lead inside 50 and then of course shanking the kick and missing Dusty by 10m kicking straight to an Eagles defender; they then fast forwarded the same play as the Eagles ran down to their forward line and Rance giving away the free for holding to Josh Hill.
Hutchy replied that Caro because of her emotional attachment to Richmond was way too harsh. That was a great effort on the weekend from the Tigers. No one has got near West Coast like that this year. Richmond are a much improved side this year and their time is coming over the next 4-to-8 weeks.
Caro repeated that you can't accept honourable losses and that Richmond don't have that belief in themselves yet. She also mentioned we have Port (away), Sydney, Essendon and Hawthorn in the next 4 weeks. They (Richmond) do have a tough draw this year.
Later in the show, Caro said although Etihad is a great place to watch footy, the Richmond vs West Coast game should never have been played there. Richmond supporters hate Etihad and only 28k turned up when you would've got 40k if the match had been at the MCG.
In Good Call/Bad call they showed a member of our cheer squad holding her six month old baby while watching the game. They all agreed babies shouldn't be allowed in cheer squad as it's too dangerous a place behind the goals. A stray footy could have hit the baby in the head. You don't risk a baby's life.
