Britain goes Crazy

Herald-Sun

MILLIONAIRE mobile phone magnate "Crazy John" Ilhan is going global.

Britain's Discovery Channel is filming a documentary on Mr Ilhan's rags to riches rise from Broadmeadows High to the nation's corporate boardrooms.
The cameras yesterday followed the phone king to the Punt Rd Oval to film him training with his beloved Richmond Tigers.

The one-hour program will be beamed into more than 431 million homes in 170 countries this year.

"I don't think Eddie ever got a doco," Mr Ilhan quipped in reference to mate and fellow Broady boy, Eddie McGuire.

Sir Richard Branson was the most recent international business mogul to feature in the Discovery Channel series.

Is he making good position or checking their pockets for change?  Doesnt seem to part with too much of his own for the Tiges for mine.

Ox, you seem to be using the word 'wog' a lot lately, with scant regard for whether anyone who reads this forum that might be offended.
I've been enjoying and agreeing with your posts lately, but I wasn't really lol at that one.

sorry to offend anyone if that was the case.
It was meant more as a term of fellowship.

Surely there should be no offence taken by being referred to as a 'Western Oriental Gentleman.'
after all his ancestory is Turkish so therefore as he comes from the Eastern shores of the Mediterranean sea.
he qualifies to be referred to as a wog 'western oriental gentleman'

Now a 'bastard' that is somewhat different but even that word is sometimes spoken as a friendly gesture.
