It's certainly time to blood the kids and give them the experience that they need to develop in the next few years.

Polak needs to be put at CHB and left there.

Let players play a set position and give them a chance.

No side has made the top 8 from 0-4 so yep time to get games into the cubs. We need to find players with class otherwise we'll stay in mediocreland.

I thought Edwards' footy brain and footskills stood out like a beakon last night. Had the awareness to run, cut back and find teammates inside the corridor that were in better and attacking positions. Probably the only mistake he made was going long for goal late in the last quarter but the game was long gone by that stage.

clever must come in the mix too
i know he hasnt done much but he has been unwell

meyer also, we need to let these guys taste the real stuff again, keep them motivated

i say bring them all in and drop all our "stars" richo, gas, petts, paddy, sugar

we bring a whole bunch of enthusiastic kids , the wce wont know how to play them

yes they will be intimidating with their size but we would not be so predictable with a new team

krak does not need to be dropped
his presure and brain creates many scoring chances
kraks only problem is he has a high footy iq but playing in a team full of dunces who have no idea how to play the game

if krak played for the bombers the eagles crows swans etc , he would be an elite player, not elite athlete , ELITE PLAYER

I don't believe Meyer did enough to warrant a senior game this week. Sturggled in the first half much beeter in the 2nd yesterday against Werribee.

JON - has been consistent in the 3 VFL games so far - so he would be the logical next promotion behind Jackson who going by what the coaches say has been very good.

Reiwoldt - is not ready for the big stuff -YET. He started yesterday at CHF , spent time at CHB and looked lost and then had a really good final term. Compared to the previous week against Nth Ballarat he was down, which from kids learning you expect (you know up one week donw the next)

Connors was sensational yesterday (super impressive) but it was his FIRST game for Coburg so IMHO cannot be considered.

We need to make changes because we have a number of players out of form and it continues to costs us. Perhaps it is time to send blokes back to Coburg to get some form back....

best example I can give is........

Pattison started very slowly yesterday - was clearly a bloke down on confidence which I think is the reuslt of the pummeling his had the previous 3 weeks by the end fo the game yesterday he was a lot better. His 2nd half was very good - doing all the 1%ers that is one of his strengths - a game at Coburg was clearly what he needed

So who comes in for JON and Jackson if we go that way?

I hope we give Edwards and King more than just one game when Petts, Sugar and Krak are way down on form. Paddy would be another in line for another run at Coburg.

I still don't see Browny coming back for while.

We're not talking about Nathan Krakouer.  Andrew Krakouer, apart from his 3 goals last weeks, has hardly been setting the field on fire.  He's averaging 12 possession per game and would be lucky if he lays 3 tackles per game.  If he was so smart, he would be creating opportunities and not relying on his team-mates to create them.

Hard to believe Krak will play his 100th game in 3 weeks.

I know you need more than just forward pressure, but going to the game on Friday and watching Krakouer a lot, he is still far and away our best player at defensive pressure up forward. He chased hard all day and you can't look purely at tackles, you have to look at the pressure he puts on as well. Until other guys like Meyer step up and put in the intensity that Krakouer does up forward he will continue to get games.

Unfortunately for Krak he just doesn't have the pace to mow blokes down like a Davey.

I reckon if he was in a decent side there'd be no problem, but because of where we are at, we're so desperate for every player to contribute so much that it's easy to single him out as someone not doing enough. Nothing highlights that more than people constantly talking about his possession count. No player that is in the forward pocket for most of the game is going to rack up a high count.

Krakouer could definitely be a lot better and/or we can do a lot better than Krakouer, but it's frustrating that he gets singled out so much when in reality there are far bigger problems in our side that we need to be focusing on first. You only had to watch the way we continually made the wrong decision under pressure when bringing the ball out of defence, or the way we had no precision into the forward line and simply bombed high balls in.

True there are bigger problems than Krak jezza but if he's going to play mainly as a forward pocket then he needs to lead up and present himself as a alternative marking option as well as a crumber. Phil Matera, Farmer and even duds like Medhurst and Milne got/get their goals from marks as well as crumbs. Even forgetting that, the modern game really requires every non-KPP to be a potential rotating midfielder when the first choice midfielders are rested. That's not Krak's thing.
