I gave Edwards votes today just because after a handful of games he knows more about using the footy cleanly than his senior teammates who fumble, can't hit targets from 20m away and play on into trouble when they should stop and stop when they should get the ball moving  :scream. He was running around with Peter Burgoyne at times so he would've got a good footy education too from a star premiership player.

FOOTY SMARTS  :clapping

Never stops trying and just keeps running, Richo if he were a midfielder (but with better kicking skills)

if connors adds discipline to his game and overcomes these alleged off-field behaviour he will be an absolute GEM.

If only we could win a game we might give Edwards a chance of a rising star nomination. 14, 18 and 15 possessions plus 13 marks and 4 goals in the past 3 weeks .

Yes Edwards does stand out from the crowd. Even though he's still slightly built he did make a couple of very good tackles against the Swans and his running goal from the left forward flank was just sensational. His finishing was first class!  :clapping In any other team it would have been inspirational but nothing seems to inspire us at the moment. For a kid to have so much fire in the belly in a team that is pathetic at best says a lot. He is the ONLY reason why I am watching games at the moment.

He will be our next superstar and is already showing a hell of a lot more than other more fancied players like Tambling.

The only reason i'm watching is to see how Edwards, Riewoldt, Connors, Casserly etc. go
And you may not think I care for you

favourite part of the game was when we were coming out of defence and he took that fantastic contested mark at CHB  :clapping

terry like that too! see him smiling in the box

even when edwards took them all on, sure he missed the goal , but the way he went about.  u could see on terrys face in the box that he knows this kid is gonna be something "speaciaaaaaaaaaal"

that was gold. Fantastic running and evasion, and I thought this is going to be a beaut goal .......... but then he shanked it lol
