When will we win our next game?
« on: May 08, 2007, 11:07:15 PM »
When do you think we will win our next game?

Even in the most optimistic of circumstances, where the Terry gets the players playing for each other and him, we only have a half chance against Essendon and Brisbane.

Melbourne could go either way, but gee it could get messy.

Actually just vote for the games you think we will win - I didn't know how the '16 options' thing worked in setting up a poll

On current form and the side we're putting out on the park, a win all season seems far fetched but young sides can surprise when you least expect it.

Even if Sunday never happened it's hard to see a win against Brisbane in their current form. Their premiership players are in stellar form and that allows their youngsters to play on their own terms.

I went for Essendon in a duel of poor skills in the dreamtime game and if not then the next time we play Collingwood. Still don't rate them.

We can beat Port over there! They may have been playing above themselves early.
They only just scraped home by one umpiring decision against Melbourne, who are only just slightly better than us, which means if the umpires pay us back the 8 or so free kicks that they owe us from the West Coast game, we might be a chance of sneaking over the top of them.

I would love to see the boys win on the weekend in terms of solidarity and passion
after last weeks effort but in reality we may even go through the season winless.
Right now excluding last week I could not see form meriting a win against anyone
other than Melbourne at this stage. That clash may be the wooden spoon decider.

We'll beat Essendon in the dreamtime game.  No doubt about it.

Agree/Disagree

We may lift and win this week, doubt it.

Port are certainly not playing above themselves. They are an extremely good team, wont threaten for the flag but they are highly skilled and fast moving team. They have done very well to get themselves really back on track to challenge for a flag in the next couple of years.

I've picked Essendon, but limiting the poll to 2007 games seems a bit harsh.

the way things are looking we wont win a game this season, will a winless season be some kinda record??

so our first win wil come in 2008 if things dont change drastically on and off field.

whats teh biggest change we need beside miller getting teh flick

ATTITUDE,

the coaches and players attitudes must all change!!!

We'll win a game sooner or later this season..anyone who thinks we won't has rocks in their head and is a poor student of the game

WOuld not be surprised at all if we win this week

But I reckon it will be against the Bombers - when they are wearing their clash  jumper and those red shorts. Essendon don't deserve to win a game in those shorts  :rollin
