I didn't see the news report so did Ch 7 actually say "party boy"? They were most likely referring to him getting suspended by the club for 3 matches earlier this year for getting in a pub fight over a game of pool. That we know is a fact. He hasn't been pulled up for drinking unlike players from a black and white club  ;).

No they din't say "party boy antics" they said "off field misdeamenours (sp)? And referred to his pool game exploits

It was obviously a very slow news day - if young Tony's been sitting on this story for months ::) They also interviewed Miller over it and he said that no decision had been made but it would be difficult for him when we have such a young list and would be looking at getting more kids at draft time

Razor officially gone for the season and stranded on 99 games.

Quote
Richmond confirmed yesterday that big man Ray Hall would not play this season after having a second operation in recent weeks to repair a torn tendon in his hip.

Razor's comments from the press conference via Sportal:

Quote
"It's (injury) sort of left me at the point where I have no choice - I can't play at this level or any level," Hall said.

"I'm certainly going to look back on this chapter of my life as a great time. I'm a better person now than when I started my footy and that's something I'm proud of.

"It's been enjoyable to find different challenges along the way. At times I played at full-back on the best forwards in the game … but it was good to be able to play in the midfield and run around and try and get a kick myself."

Plough on Razor from the Age:

Quote
"We expected to have these guys for a longer period of time," Richmond
coach Terry Wallace said. "We haven't got anyone sitting in front of us that's 33, 34, 35 years of age and we would have hoped to have them for a lot longer, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way."

Originally from Woy Woy in NSW, Hall had been at Richmond longest, having played his entire career there after his debut in 1999.

He was regarded as a "Mr Fix-It" around the club, playing on some of the biggest names in the competition and having been called upon to play positions as varied as half-forward flank and ruck.

"Not at any stage of the year has Ray looked likely to be able to get up and play," Wallace said.

"What I said to the players about Ray was that until you don't have somebody, you don't realise how much you miss them at times."
