Why has RFC stopped Gaming Club expansion.

The club seems to have some decent interests and revenue raisers in the Royal Oak and Wantirna Club, why havent we however added to the clubs business assets in this regard. Theres gotta be some decent opportunities for the club particularly in the areas where we have strong levels of support. We are falling behind other clubs on these matters.

The 2 gaming clubs up until last year ramps had really struggled. I tihnk at the moment it's been about consolidating them rather than increasing them. Also the costs involved in setting up or taking over a venue like that are massive

We need gaming machines for the new (to be built) social club at Punt rd oval.

Revenue possibilties would be very encouraging if we could arrange that. However I think there is some sort of restriction preventing us from gaining access to a gaming lincence and gaming machines.

Can anybody clarify this situation?

Check out the annual reports of 2004 & 2005 and you'll find the revenues were down but increased in 2006 by about 40%

They are certasinly not struggling now but for a couple of years they were as mant gaming venues were

Is that due to the cap on the number of gaming machines?
